Master’s degree and conference in the October issue of Tecnica Ospedaliera
Università Iuav di Venezia, through its Master’s Degree in Architecture and Health, and the Veneto Region, together with the ULSS 3 Serenissima Local Health Authority, are combining their respective expertise to address the challenges facing the healthcare system of the future before an audience of technicians and healthcare professionals. The collaboration, which began some time ago, is based on the belief that project culture and training are the foundation of innovation.
The event held on 30 September at the SS. Giovanni e Paolo Hospital was part of a broader cooperation agreement between LUAV and the Veneto Region, which this year aims to analyse the existing healthcare building stock and recently completed projects in Veneto, with a particular focus on the hospital network.
In the coming years, the initiative will extend its scope to local structures, furthering the implementation of local healthcare reform aimed at social integration, evaluating the results of the PNRR (2026) and paving the way for reflection on a possible new hospital model that is more streamlined, dynamic and technologically advanced, to which the University and the master’s programme can make a significant contribution.
